​NSW Regional Relocation Eligibility Criteria

 

To be eligibile for the $7,000 Regional Relocation Grant in Port Stephens, you must

 

Be buying the port Stephens home fo r yourself, not for anyone else or to put into trust.

 

Must enter into a purcgase agreement on a Port Stephens home between 1 January 2014 and 30 June 2015.

 

Or have been renting a home in the metropolitan area in the 12 months prior to commencing te purchase of your regional property and can establish a 2 year rental history.

 

Live in your Port Stephens home for 12 continuous months commencing within 12 months of purchasing it.

 

Have owned (mortgaged) and occupied your city residence for at least one year before buying your regional home.

 

Be purchasing a home worth less than $600,000.

 

Sell your city residnce within 12 months of buying your Port Stephens home.

 

Hove not received any other NSW Regional Relocation Grant (Home Buyers Grant) Act 2011.
